Using Recipe History

By creating an account or using Recipe History, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement where you live. Keep your account credentials secure and provide accurate account information.

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, upload unlawful or harmful content, harass others, or use automated means to scrape the service or its users.

Your content

You retain ownership of recipes, photos, and other content you create. You grant Recipe History a non-exclusive license to host, process, back up, display, and transmit that content only as needed to provide and improve the service. If you make content public or share it, that license includes displaying it to the audience you selected.

You are responsible for your content and must have the rights needed to upload, import, publish, or share it. Imported recipes are private by default. Respect copyright, privacy, and other applicable rights.

Recipe History technology

Recipe History and its software, design, version-control system, branding, and other platform technology remain the property of Recipe History and its licensors. These terms do not grant permission to copy, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the platform itself.

AI, nutrition, and cooking information

AI-generated imports, substitutions, nutrition estimates, and other suggestions can be incomplete or wrong. Review recipes before relying on them, especially for allergies, dietary restrictions, food safety, and medical needs. Recipe History is not medical or professional nutrition advice.

Paid services

If you purchase a paid plan, displayed prices, billing intervals, and plan limits apply. Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel future renewal through the available billing controls; fees already charged are non-refundable except where required by law.

Availability and termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may limit or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for users or the service. You may stop using Recipe History or delete your account at any time.

Disclaimers and liability

Recipe History is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties and do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, Recipe History will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities arising from use of the service. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as Recipe History changes. We will post the updated date here and provide additional notice when a change is material. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
